We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect for attending the Werchter festival, with easy and ample parking available. The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice, offering a relaxing side view of the tree planting. Although we didn't have the opportunity to try the breakfast, it smelled delicious. The staff, including the friendly owners and their dog, Bella, made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Malcot is a very nice hotel off the main road. Beautiful garden. Quiet and peaceful. Nice room and bathroom.

Finding a nice restaurant close by was not easy.

The owner Luc was good natured, helpful and humorous. Made everything to make sure we are comfortable. The garden is beautiful end the setting very quiet and peaceful, although it is very close to town.

Our room was not exactly made on days we stayed a little late.

Quiet countryside oasis, friendly owner, excellent breakfast with fried eggs and bacon, good location near train station to Brussels, nice and clean rooms, relaxing side view of tree planting.

    Nothing everything was great.

Host and Hostess were quite hospitable and told the guests staying in hotel funny stories.

100 Euro for one night in a relatively far location, bath room is quite small. 25 euro for one home-made "menu", did not know the meal and guest were so rare in that hotel lol~

Excellent hospitality and services. It has a great atmosphere with a nice personallity and respect to their visitors.

It was a pitty that the weather wasn't that great and so I couldn't enjoy the terras during breakfast.

Spent Easter weekend in this charming manor house and was pleasantly surprised by the quaint location, which was only a short walk from the train station. The hotel grounds were surprisingly extensive, unlike anything in the city, which made it peaceful to enjoy Easter Weekend. The owners, Luke and Connie were at our beck and call providing helpful information and a warm welcome. , the bedding provided was blissfully comfortable, which made it hard to get up early for Easter mass.

The distance to the central city area was a bit cumbersome. It was only a 30-minute walk, but the nearest bus stop was a good hike and only passed sporadically.

Staff, welcome (humour), setting, atmosphere (peaceful, yet fun).

Size of room, but that was not the hotel's fault - last room available.

Perfect small hotel for me and my little dog. Travelled with partner. Had two great rooms with super beds (I have back problems, but slept wonderfully). Everything super clean, nice colours, great breakfast. Beautiful gardens and quiet little spot on the edge of Mechelen. Great reception of warm and friendly owners. A real treat after long days at exhibitions. And while you are there - do eat in Maroccan restaurant Riad in town. Simple, yet fantastic traditional Maroccan food, great people, and do taste the Maroccan wine!

The towels and bed linens were fresh and clean, and the room was decent-sized. the restaurant had a good selection of dishes on its menu, and the breakfast was typically Belgian. the hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the local rail station and bus stops, making it easy to get to the city center. We enjoyed the garden, which had a peaceful atmosphere.

the Wi-Fi was unreliable, and we were not able to get online at all on one day.

Host was very friendly, everything felt very relaxed and easy going. Room was superb, bathroom as well. We had our dogs with us and everything about that was also very relaxed. The hotel is just of a somewhat busy road but it's totally quiet in the hotel itself. Big field at the back, leading to woods - felt like the country side! Although we didn't book breakfast as had to leave early we still were offered a coffee in the morning.

A wonderful oasis of calm amongst a large town. Luc and his wife made us very welcome. Walking distance to the centre of town. A really lovely place to stay - we hope to visit again very soon.

If you're looking for a peaceful stay just out of the centre, Hotel Malcot is the place for you. Nestled in extensive grounds away from the main road, it offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a classic Belgian estate charm. the friendly staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. And don't miss the delicious breakfast, with options like fried eggs and bacon. Plus, there's ample parking and a supermarket nearby for added convenience.

One minor downside is the lack of a fridge in the rooms.
